1986 Air Jordan KO
In 1986, Air Jordan 1 got rid of leather for canvas.
Named Air Jordan KO, this form of the Jordan I comprises predominantly of canvas and outsole reminiscent of the Nike Vandal. The reasons behind the change of materials and naming it as such is still unknown to this day.
Jordan brand retroed them for the first time back in 2010 with vintage features but came with an Air Jordan 1 outsole.
It also features "AJKO" on the wings logo instead of the usual "Air Jordan".
These were retroed again in 2013, now sporting the original outsole minus the vintage feel.
To this day, we have seen numerous version of this style - different colorways and different materials as well.
