Air Jordan IV White/Cement 1999 Retro
17 years ago was the first time these retroed with that "Nike Air" logo.
Part of the second wave of Jordan retro, these were released on the 6th of February, 1999.
These were made famous in Spike Lee's film "Do The Right Thing".
They came in a silver Air Jordan box and a retro card. Aside from the "Nike Air" branding on the heel tab, they feature the Nike swoosh on the outsole.
The shoes featured a white leather upper with grey and black accents. Grey areas are speckled with black giving it the "cement" element.
Aging didn't go very well with this pair as you can see on the midsole. Good thing, all the plastic parts are still sturdy, with no signs of brittleness.
This 13th of February, they are set again to release, bringing back the infamous "Nike Air" branding.Maybe it's time to retire these and grab a pair. What do you guys think?
