Nike Air Force 1 "Playstation"

With the Playstation 3's 10th Anniversary just around the corner, we take a look at the most coveted product of Nike and Sony's partnership; the Nike Air Force 1 "Playstation".

I was able to photograph 2 pairs of the elusive pair; a Non-Patent leather sample of the 2006 Promo Sample handed out to select Sony employees and the 2009 All Patent leather reissue version.

It was said that the Non-Patent leather sample was made alongside the 2006 Patent pairs which explains the Playstation insole graphics.

To celebrate Playstation 2's 10th year anniversary in 2009, Sony reached out to Nike and asked to reissue the shoe. Nike agreed and made 50 pairs. The reissued pair now features an All Patent leather uppers.

Both pairs feature an embroidered Playstation logo, the purple-to-blue-to-white gradient on the heel panel reminiscent of the system's XMB interface, and colored accents on the midsole that matched the Playstation logo.

Let's keep our eyes peeled to what Nike and Sony has in store this time.

Here are some old shots I took with Ms. Paloma and friends.
