San Francisco: Sessions at the Presidio

Only a few miles from the Palace of Fine Arts, we drove to the Presidio to have something to eat. Sun was going down and we're trying to beat the weekend traffic going back to Salinas.
After having to wait for more than 30 minutes for an al fresco table since Booze was with us, we were finally given one.
We just ordered from their small plates selection and it was all great. We tried their Panella Cheese Dumplings with Cilantro-Chili Pesto, Corn, and Walnut, Crispy Squash Blossoms, Thick Cut Kennebeck Fries with Hop Salt and Dark Malt Aioli, and lastly, Mediterranean Mussles with Andouille, Pickled Chilies, and Preserved Lemon.
For dessert, we tried their Basil Cake on Lemon Curd with Fresh Berries and Lemon-Rosemary Sherbet. We didn't know what to expect with this at first but we were surprised that it really tasted so good. And yes, everything on the plate is edible.
We were just in San Francisco for almost half a day but it looked like we've done a lot of things. I wished we could've stayed for the whole weekend but I guess the timing wasn't right. I definitely can't wait to go back and explore the city again, and again, and again.
