Under Armour Roadshow Manila - Mall of Asia Arena
After the presscon, it's time for the MVP to show Manila his "ill skills that kill".🏀
SM Mall of Asia Arena was the venue for Steph Curry's show here in Manila. Thousands came to see the reigning NBA MVP with hopes of getting a glimpse of his much talked about quick-release trigger from downtown and of course, his handles.
Before the show, Under Armour conducted a basketball clinic with selected Filipino ballers.
Celebrities were also in attendance to witness Steph Curry hit those 3 from beyond the arc.
Under Armour's CEO Kevin Plank came out and gave a brief talk about his company's vision and goal while being happy that he gets to visit the country since his wife is of Filipino descent.
The Champ is here!!
Jadakiss' "The Champ is Here" echoed inside the Arena as the NBA Champ enters the court.
Andrei Felix and Gretchen Ho both got a huge hug from the man.
When asked about his daughter Riley teaching him how to do the Nae Nae, the Chef had a fitting response - showed what his daughter taught him!
I'd agree, Riley taught you well.
Lucky kids were given a chance of a lifetime to get up and close with Steph Curry on court.
But no kid is luckier than Dom, who got his fair share of spotlight as he dribbled his way to a basket against Wardell.
The athletes were called again on court to participate in the Skills Camp,
He was generous enough to give lucky fans in court-side his autographs whenever he's off the ball.
Of course, what's the entire visit of Steph Curry without a 3-point shootout, right?
Look at the flick of the wrist! Woop!
Of course, we all know who won this shootout. After that, the clock was set for a 15-minute scrimmage with the Chef.
Shooting 3's, dropping dimes, showing off his handles... What more can you ask for?
One participant pushed off Steph Curry, and the MVP, with his competitive self, took on the challenge and blew by his defender. EASY.
After the buzzer, fans were treated to a slam dunk exhibition, featuring Steph himself!
His game-worn jersey, signed by him, went to a lucky fan.
Stephen Curry had a blast, and made sure that this won't be the last time he'll visit the Philippines.
